In the present, modern digital era, we are making a kingdom of desires with no boundaries. These unlimited desires will surely dissolve away all essence of life on earth. Ecological disturbance is the inevitable consequence of the modern world lifestyle. As a result, the natural ecosystems are continuously being destroyed thus disrupting the normal life on earth. Therefore, restoration and revival of the functional and self-sustaining ecosystems is the need of the hour towards sustainable development. Land or soil restoration is the indelible essential component of environment restoration. It also addresses the problem of global climate change. For ensuring food security to support the increasing world population, the expansion of agriculture land via land restoration and rejuvenation is need of the hour. Modern as well as traditional methods of restoration can be used successfully for land restoration. But the restoration and revival methods should be green and economical. Thus, the present chapter is an endeavour to enlighten the path towards promotion and strengthening of simple, sustainable and indigenous land and soil resource management strategies.
