conditions to increase the global per capita food supply for ever growing world
population, industrial development, environment and human and livestock health
especially under changing climatic conditions are most important concerns
globally.
Also, eliminating food wastage has enormous potential to reduce
hunger.
New developments have opened up new opportunities to develop
technologies that can lead to high productivity without adverse impact on the
natural resources base.
