Dr. Shenbagavalli S
Dr. S. Shenbagavalli is a Assistant Professor (Environmental Science) at Horticultural College and Research Institute, TNAU, Periyakulam. She has been awarded Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship by the University Grant Commission, New Delhi, for her M.Sc. programme and also awarded Post Graduate Research Scholarship from Education Australia Ltd during her Ph.D programme. She become a specialist in carbon sequestration and mitigation of green house gases from agricultural field by his doctoral programme. She has published more than 25 research papers in peer reviewed scientific journals and she has presented more than 35 papers in national and international conferences/seminars. She has organized four international conferences and three international workshops besides several training programme to farmers and students as a committee member. She is a recipient of Junior Scientist of the year 2008 from National Environmental Science Academy and received many best research paper (oral/poster) awards during national and international conferences. - Pollution in Environment
