Publication of this book has been formulated for fulfilling the needs of a specific group of agricultural and biological scientists, particularly for those engaged in experimental work. The topics chosen for discussion are those which are commonly used by the experimental scientists and students who are not well versed in mathematical theories. The topics less important from an application point of view, have been purposely omitted from the scope of the book in order to maintain its size reasonably moderate.
