Ms Ikra Manzoor
Ms. Ikra Manzoor has completed her B.Sc. Horticulture (Hons.) degree from
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir in
2018. She did her M. Sc. Horticulture (Fruit Science) from Sher-e-Kashmir
University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir in 2021. She was
a merit scholarship holder during both the degree programs. Currently she is
pursuing her Ph. D. in Fruit Science from, Sher-e-Kashmir University of
Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir. She has qualified ASRB-NET
(National Eligibility Test) in 2021. She has also published abstracts on
diverse topics related to horticulture in various National & International
seminars and symposiums. She was shortlisted for zonal level evaluation for
Agri-Hackethon of ICAR in 2020 for the technologically innovative idea in the
field of horticulture. She has also contributed as an author for several book
chapters published in Taylor & Francis. She has also won the best poster
presentation award at the 9th Indian Horticulture Congress in 2021.
Presently, she was selected for the award of Prime Minister’s Doctorate
Fellowship in 2022.
